The lineup was announced on September 18, 2026 (BNews). Saturday blends MPB, forró and pagode; Sunday has that Bahian summer spirit, with axé, piseiro and Marina Sena’s pop.

About Festival de Verão Salvador
Festival de Verão is Bahia’s biggest music festival outside of Carnival and marks the start of Salvador’s concert season. The 2027 edition, organized by Bahia Eventos and Salvador Produções, will be broadcast on Rede Bahia channels and TV Globo, according to Rolling Stone.
In 2026, the festival moved from Parque de Exposições to Arena do Wet Eventos, on the same Avenida Paralela, with capacity for 25,000 people per day: 15,000 in the arena and 10,000 in the VIP box (Bahia Notícias, Sep/2025). The weekend falls three weeks before Carnival 2027, which starts on February 6, and works as a warm-up.
It’s worth it for anyone who wants to see Maria Bethânia, BaianaSystem, João Gomes and Timbalada & Olodum in a single weekend and still enjoy Salvador in summer. The catch is the late-night ride home, which weighs more than the ticket price.
Festival de Verão 2027 tickets: when sales open and how much they should cost
In Voyage Voyage’s October 2026 check, done on October 10, sales for the 2027 edition hadn’t opened and no prices had been announced. Organizers said sales start in October 2026. The 2026 prices serve as a reference for budgeting:

In 2026, the pre-sale was exclusive to Cartão BB Visa customers for three days, and the general sale ran through Sympla and shopping mall counters (Bora Ticket and Pida). There was also a two-day pass with a discount. Buy only through the channels announced on @festivaldeverao; tickets sold in social media groups are the most common scam.
How to get to Arena do Wet Eventos on Paralela
The arena is at Av. Luís Viana, 9581, Avenida Paralela, the corridor linking downtown to the airport. Metro Line 2 runs along Paralela and is the most predictable way to get there and back; the special 2027 plan (extended hours and extra buses) hasn’t been announced yet.
In 2025, at Parque de Exposições, also on Paralela, the metro and buses ran special service and parking cost R$ 40 (Bahia Notícias, Jan/2025). Uber and 99 work, but 25,000 people leaving at once drives the fare up: agree on a meeting point away from the gate.
What to bring and what’s not allowed
- Ticket and official photo ID: usually required.
- Allowed items: in 2025, the list allowed an empty plastic bottle up to 300 ml, a cap and a rain poncho. The 2027 list hasn’t been released; check the festival’s official profile before you leave home.
What to do in Salvador on festival weekend
If gates open in the afternoon, as in 2026, your morning is free. To explore the historic center on foot before the show, the Pelourinho Free Tour (Civitatis) passes through Terreiro de Jesus and Largo do Pelourinho. If you arrive on Friday or stay until Monday, you can take the panoramic Salvador tour (Civitatis), which covers Cidade Alta, Cidade Baixa and the seafront in a few hours. Where to stay for Festival de Verão
Pick your neighborhood with the late-night ride home in mind. Pituba and Armação are on the Atlantic seafront, on the same side of the city as Paralela, with a short ride to the arena. Rio Vermelho has bars and nightlife for before and after; Barra and Pelourinho are great for daytime sightseeing but farther from Paralela.
