Which cruises depart in November 2026?
In November 2026, 3- and 4-night mini-cruises depart from Santos on the MSC Musica, MSC Seaview and Costa Diadema, plus a 7-night Plata voyage on the MSC Splendida from Rio de Janeiro on 11/29. All prices below were checked on Logitravel on 10/11/2026, per person in a double cabin and with taxes.
| Ship | Departure | Port | Nights | From (10/11/2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MSC Musica | 11/20, 11/23 and 11/30 | Santos → Búzios → Santos | 3 | R$ 2,084 (Oct 2026), on the 11/30 sailing |
| MSC Seaview | 11/29 | Santos → Búzios → Santos | 3 | R$ 2,104 (Oct 2026) |
| Costa Diadema | 11/23 and 11/26 | Santos → Itajaí → Santos | 3 | R$ 2,384 (Oct 2026) |
| Costa Diadema | 11/29 | Santos → Ilhabela → Itajaí → Santos | 4 | R$ 2,518 (Oct 2026) |
| MSC Splendida | 11/29 | Rio → Montevideo → Buenos Aires → Rio | 7 | R$ 7,045 (Oct 2026) |
The same ship changes price depending on the day. On the MSC Musica, the 3-night route to Búzios cost R$ 2,604 on the 11/20 sailing, R$ 2,234 on 11/23 and R$ 2,084 on 11/30 (Oct 2026): more than R$ 500 per person difference for the same itinerary. If you have flexible dates, you save more by picking the day than by picking the cruise line.
Outside Logitravel, the Spanish line Corazul debuts in Brazil with the Corazul Buenavista, which has a fare with a drinks package included. According to the official Corazul calendar, in November it departs Santos for Búzios (11/06, 11/13 and 11/27), Balneário Camboriú (11/02, 11/09, 11/16 and 11/30), Ilhabela (11/24) and Búzios with Ilhabela (11/20). The price isn’t published on the line’s website: it’s listed as to be confirmed with the travel agency.
For those living in the Northeast, the month’s option is one-way only: the MSC Divina departs Salvador on 11/12 bound for Santos, with a stop in Rio, 4 nights, from R$ 4,753 per person (Logitravel, Oct 2026). The Costa Diadema departure from Salvador on 11/20 showed no availability in the 10/11/2026 search. Regular departures from Maceió and Salvador start in December, in the guide to cruises departing from Maceió.
When does the 2026/2027 season start?
The 2026/2027 cruise season officially starts on 10/31/2026 and runs through 04/09/2027, according to CLIA Brasil projections released in May 2026. There are 8 ships on the Brazilian coast, 831,254 berths (about 24% more than the previous season), 190 itineraries and 7 embarkation ports, with Paranaguá as the newcomer.
November is therefore the first full month of the season. Ships are still arriving from Europe and run many short mini-cruises from Santos, while the 7-night trips to the Northeast (MSC Virtuosa) and to the Plata (MSC Seaview and Costa Diadema) start in December. In Santos, the city government expects 161 calls and around 832,000 passengers and crew during the season, with December as the peak, according to a Mercado & Eventos report from 10/07/2026.
The full calendar, ship by ship, is in the 2026/2027 cruise season guide. One important difference: Corazul moved up the Buenavista’s debut to 10/23/2026, in Santos, before CLIA’s official opening date.
How much does it cost and what’s included?
A November cruise costs from R$ 2,084 per person on a 3-night mini-cruise departing Santos and from R$ 7,045 on the 7-night Plata voyage departing Rio (Logitravel, Oct 2026). The amounts are per person in a double cabin and already include taxes.
| Item | Included? | Extra cost |
|---|---|---|
| Cabin and full board (buffet and main restaurant) | Yes | Nothing more |
| Port taxes | Yes, in the Logitravel price | Nothing more |
| MSC service charge (R$ 99 per night from age 12, Oct 2026) | Yes, already in the fare sold in Brazil | Nothing more |
| Costa service charge | May be charged at booking or on board | Confirm at booking |
| Drinks (soda, beer, cocktails) | No | Package or pay as you go |
| Internet, shore excursions, spa, specialty restaurants | No | Depends on usage |
The real total cost starts with the fare and adds whatever you’ll spend on board. For a couple driving down from São Paulo on the MSC Musica of 11/30, the minimum bill comes to about R$ 2,104 per person: R$ 2,084 for the cabin with taxes plus half the toll for the Anchieta-Imigrantes descent, at R$ 40.60 (Oct 2026). The terminal parking lot doesn’t yet have a published rate for 2026/2027, and drinks are extra: on MSC, not even soda is in the price, only water, coffee and juice from the buffet machines.
On a 3-night trip, extras weigh less than on a week-long one, but they still count. If you plan to drink every day, compare the drinks package with paying as you go before boarding, and if you need internet, add the ship’s plan. The step-by-step of every expense is in the guide to how much a cruise costs.
Which themed cruises happen in November?
November has four themed cruises back to back on the MSC Divina, all 3 nights with embarkation and disembarkation in Santos and organized by PromoAção. The cabin is sold only through the organizer, and the port tax is R$ 1,350 per person (Oct 2026), on top of the fare.
| Cruise | Dates | Style |
|---|---|---|
| Rota do Propósito | 11/17 to 11/20/2026 | Gospel |
| Vumbora Pro Mar | 11/20 to 11/23/2026 | Axé, with Bell Marques |
| Navio Cabaré | 11/23 to 11/26/2026 | Sertanejo, with Leonardo |
| 89 Rock Boat | 11/26 to 11/29/2026 | Brazilian rock |
These ships don’t show up on Logitravel because they’re fully chartered. If the show date doesn’t fit your schedule, the regular mini-cruise on the MSC Musica or MSC Seaview runs the same short route from Santos, without the artist’s programming, and costs from R$ 2,084 per person (Oct 2026). The calendar for the whole season, from November to January, is in themed cruises 2026/2027.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?
To sail in November, waiting for Black Friday on 11/27/2026 almost never pays off: most of the month’s departures will have already set sail. In the 2025 campaign, MSC started its offers on 10/31 and extended them to 12/07, according to Brasilturis, so discounts may appear earlier, but with no guarantee for the date you want.
The safe strategy is different. Write down today the total price per person for the exact sailing you want (ship, date and cabin category) and check it once a week. If it drops, great; if the cheapest cabin sells out, you’ll have lost more than the promised discount. Late-November sailings that still have cabins left can also drop in price as last-minute deals, outside the campaign. The complete method for telling a real discount from a fake one is in the cruise Black Friday guide.
For trips from December to March, the logic flips: Black Friday can be the time to lock in the fare with enough time to arrange flights to the port, documents and time off.
What cabin types are there and which is worth it?
On a 3-night mini-cruise, the inside cabin is the most rational choice for anyone who spends the day on deck and only sleeps in the room; it’s the one that shows up in the R$ 2,084 to R$ 2,518 per person prices in the table (Oct 2026). A balcony makes more sense on the 7-night Plata voyage, when there are two straight days at sea.
The categories follow the same order on every ship: inside (no window), ocean view (with a window that doesn’t open), balcony and suite. On MSC, there are also the Bella, Fantastica and Aurea experiences, which change change flexibility, dinner time and services. Guaranteed cabin fares, with no chosen number, tend to be the cheapest, but passengers only find out the location at embarkation. Families should check the actual occupancy of a cabin for 3 or 4 people instead of multiplying the adult fare.
Which port does it leave from and how do you get to the terminal?
Almost all November cruises depart from the Concais terminal, at the Port of Santos, with passenger entry and official parking through Gate 6. The MSC Splendida’s Plata voyage on 11/29 boards at Pier Mauá, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, and departs at 7 p.m.
From São Paulo, the drive down via Anchieta or Imigrantes takes about 1h30 without traffic; the car toll costs R$ 40.60 one way (Oct 2026). Those flying in land at Guarulhos or Congonhas and continue by bus, transfer or rideshare to Santos. The Costa Diadema mini-cruises depart at 5 p.m., and the MSC Seaview’s 11/29 sailing at 6 p.m., according to the Logitravel itinerary; on MSC, check-in closes 2 hours before the ship departs.
For those arriving from another state, sleeping in Santos the night before removes the risk of traffic on the mountain road. The details of the terminal, parking and neighborhoods near the port are in the cruise departing from Santos guide; those who prefer to board further south can find dates in the cruise departing from Itajaí guide.

What documents should you bring?
On Brazil-only mini-cruises, MSC accepts RG, passport or driver’s license; the digital driver’s license is valid only through the official app, not a screenshot, according to MSC’s documents page. On the MSC Splendida’s Plata voyage, which stops in Montevideo and Buenos Aires, bring an original RG in good condition or a passport valid for at least six months: a driver’s license won’t work.
Minors under 18 need their own document and, if traveling without one of their parents, authorization per Federal Police rules. On Costa, check your booking’s list, because requirements vary by itinerary. The complete list, including dual-nationality and foreigner cases, is in cruise documents.
The ship’s medical center is paid separately, even on domestic itineraries, and an emergency consultation on board comes out of your pocket. Insurance also helps if an unforeseen event keeps you from boarding, as long as the policy includes cancellation coverage.
Health rules on board also factor into the decision. On MSC, pregnant women can’t board at 23 weeks and 6 days or more on any day of the trip and need a medical certificate, per MSC’s health FAQ. On Costa, babies must be at least 6 months old on the embarkation date.
Is it worth it? Who it’s for and who it isn’t
A November cruise is worth it for anyone who wants the season’s lowest price, outside school holidays and away from the December peak, when Santos receives 40 calls. It’s not worth it for anyone who needs guaranteed beach weather: spring weather can still bring rain and rougher seas along the São Paulo coast.
Worth it for: first-timers who want to test a cruise over 3 nights before spending a week (see the mini-cruise guide); couples who can get away on a Thursday or Sunday; those living in Greater São Paulo who can drive down the same day; fans of the themed-ship artists; anyone who wants to reach Buenos Aires by ship without flying, on the MSC Splendida of 11/29.
Not worth it for: families tied to the school calendar, since November is a month of classes and exams; those who get seasick easily, because the mini-cruise has a full night at sea and spring waters can be rougher; anyone wanting the Northeast, whose regular departures only start in December; those expecting an empty ship on the themed cruises, which fill up with the artist’s fans.
Between the two cheapest mini-cruises, the choice is simple. The MSC Musica of 11/30 is the lowest price and spends the day in Búzios. The Costa Diadema of 11/29 costs R$ 434 more per person (Oct 2026), but has an extra night and two stops, Ilhabela and Itajaí, which gives you more ship for your money if you have one more day off. The MSC Seaview of 11/29, at R$ 2,104, is the newest of the three, from 2018.
What nobody tells you
“Season opening” isn’t your embarkation day. The 10/31 date marks the ships’ arrival in the country; many make their first trips only from mid-November, and some are one-way repositioning legs.
A one-way leg requires a return ticket. The MSC Divina of 11/12, from Salvador to Santos, ends in another state. Add the flight or bus back before comparing it with a round-trip mini-cruise.
A themed ship changes the vibe on board. On the dates from 11/17 to 11/29, the MSC Divina is fully chartered; the other ships that week run normally, but the Port of Santos gets busier on embarkation days, with longer lines at Gate 6.
The itinerary can change because of the sea. Stops with tender-boat disembarkation, like Búzios and Ilhabela, depend on the weather. If the captain cancels the stop, the ship keeps sailing; check the line’s policy for what’s refunded in that case.
The advertised price is per person, in a double cabin. Solo travelers pay a supplement, which on MSC can reach 100% on promotional fares. Ask for a quote with the actual occupancy.
Conclusion
November is the cheapest month to get into the 2026/2027 season: 3-night mini-cruises from Santos starting at R$ 2,084 per person (Oct 2026), four themed sailings on the MSC Divina and the first Plata voyage departing Rio on 11/29. Pick the date first, then the ship, and note today’s price to compare with Black Friday. If you prefer the season in a holiday mood, you’ll find sailings with Christmas and New Year’s Eve on board in December cruises.
