Which bands play at 89 Rock Boat 2026?

The official 89 Rock Boat 2026 website confirms 13 acts: Biquíni Cavadão, Capital Inicial, CPM 22, Di Ferrero, Jota Quest, Nando Reis, Raimundos, Os Paralamas do Sucesso, Detonautas, Blitz, Maneva, Samuel Rosa and Lobão, and teases that there will be “much more.” The day-by-day lineup and show times haven’t been released yet (Oct 2026).

The edition celebrates 40 years of 89 FM, São Paulo’s Radio Rock, and mixes names from 1980s Brazilian rock, like Blitz, Paralamas, Biquíni Cavadão, Capital Inicial and Lobão, with the 1990s and 2000s generation: Raimundos, Jota Quest, Detonautas, CPM 22, Di Ferrero (ex-NX Zero) and Maneva. Samuel Rosa, former lead singer of Skank, and Nando Reis come with solo careers.

The organizer promises 72 hours of programming, with concerts, parties and themed meetups. The main shows happen on the pool decks, out in the open, which is why the itinerary is only set close to the date: it depends on the sea and the weather. If you want the full lineup, keep an eye on the official 89 Rock Boat website and the event’s Instagram profile, where announcements usually drop.

PromoAção runs other themed cruises on the same ship. Three days earlier, from Nov 23 to 26, 2026, the MSC Divina hosts Navio Cabaré, with Leonardo and other sertanejo names, also departing from Santos. Before that, from Nov 20 to 23, comes Vumbora Pro Mar, by Bell Marques, and in December the Navio Ch&X, by Chitãozinho & Xororó (Dec 3 to 6); all the dates are in the 2026/2027 themed cruise calendar. These are very different crowds: check the date on your e-ticket before buying a ticket to the port.

The 89 Rock Boat 2026 itinerary doesn’t exist yet: the organizer says it will be set close to boarding, because the shows happen on the pool decks and depend on weather conditions. What’s certain is departing Santos on Nov 26 and returning to Santos on Nov 29, 2026.

In practice, a 3-night cruise departing from and returning to Santos can have a short coastal stop (the regular 4-day sailings of the MSC Divina and MSC Musica stop in Búzios or Angra dos Reis) or be a pure sailing. Don’t count on a shore excursion before the itinerary is out: festivals at sea tend to prioritize sea days, when everyone is on board for the shows.

The MSC Divina is an MSC Cruises ship that, according to the organizer, makes its Brazil debut in 2026. On board there are four pool and jacuzzi areas, including a covered one, the Infinity Garden Pool with an infinity edge, the adults-only Top 18 sun deck, a gym, the Pantheon Theater, the Veneziano Casino, a Formula 1 simulator, a 4D cinema, a sports court on deck 16 and teen clubs for ages 12 to 14 and 15 to 17.

For dining, the official website mentions the aft restaurant Villa Rossa, the Butcher’s Club steakhouse, the Asian restaurant Galaxy and the Golden Jazz Bar on deck 7. Specialty restaurants, like the steakhouse and the Asian one, are usually paid separately on MSC ships; the main restaurant and the buffet are included in the fare.

How much does 89 Rock Boat 2026 cost and what’s included?

The organizer doesn’t publish cabin prices for 89 Rock Boat 2026: the site takes you straight to checkout and warns that prices change without notice. What is published is the port fee of R$ 1,350.00 per person, paid together with the cabin and payable in installments, plus payment in up to 12 credit card installments (Oct 2026).

Other discounts mentioned in the official FAQ: guests under 18 pay a promotional rate in lower categories when they are the 3rd and 4th guests in the cabin, and frequent PromoAção passengers get 5% off new themed cruises. To see the current price for your category, open the 89 Rock Boat cabins page and head to checkout. The site warns that only the last 100 cabins remain (Oct 2026).

What’s included in the price: cabin, meals in the main restaurant and buffet, the concerts and the festival programming. What you pay extra for, outside the Experience and Yacht Club categories: alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, specialty restaurants, internet, casino and spa. Bringing your own drinks isn’t allowed: they’re discarded at the boarding X-ray.

As a price benchmark, the table below shows regular 4-day mini-cruises departing from Santos, without the concerts, per person in a double cabin, with fees, quoted on Logitravel on October 10, 2026. The MSC Musica on Dec 3 is the regular sailing closest to the 89 Rock Boat date.

What cabin types are there and which one is worth it?

89 Rock Boat 2026 sells five cabin groups: interior, ocean view with window, balcony, Experience (with window or balcony suites) and Yacht Club. If you’re going for the shows and only sleep in the cabin, interior is the most economical choice; if you want drinks included, you need to move up to Experience or Yacht Club.

CabinWhat it hasDrinksWho it’s for
InteriorCentral area, no view; convertible bed, bathroom, AC, TV, safe and minibarPaid separatelyThose who spend the day at the shows
Ocean view with windowSide view of the sea, on upper decksPaid separatelyThose who want natural light
BalconyGlass door and private balconyPaid separatelyCouples and those who want open air
Experience and suitesBalcony, priority boarding, exclusive lounge and restaurantIncludedThose who drink a lot
Yacht ClubPrivate area, 24h butler, own pool and restaurantIncludedThose who want the highest level

The drink math decides much of the choice. Over 3 festival nights with shows on the pool deck, anyone planning to drink beer and cocktails all day could spend on board roughly the difference to the Experience category. Light drinkers come out cheaper in an interior or balcony cabin and pay only for what they consume.

Location matters too. The Experience cabins are, according to the organizer, close to the show areas, and come with priority boarding and disembarkation, which shortens the Santos line on Sunday, Nov 29. In an interior cabin, the quiet helps you sleep after the last show.

Tip: balcony cabins and the Experience categories are usually the first to sell out on a themed cruise. If that’s your pick, check availability on the organizer’s cabin page before booking your trip to Santos.

Is it worth it? Who it’s for and who it isn’t

89 Rock Boat is worth it for anyone who loves Brazilian rock and wants to see many bands in a few days, with no traffic and no festival lines: the show is one elevator ride from your cabin. It’s not worth it for those who get seasick, want to explore destinations or prefer quiet, because the whole ship revolves around the party.

Worth it for: fans who would already pay for tickets to two or three of these shows on land, groups of friends splitting a quad cabin, anyone who wants to celebrate 89’s 40th anniversary with the radio’s crowd. Not worth it for: those looking for beaches and shore excursions, families with small children who go to bed early, anyone with severe seasickness, or those who want to spend little on drinks and won’t give up beer.

What documents do you need to board?

Bring your original photo ID: RG, CNH or RNE, valid and in good condition. 89 Rock Boat departs from and returns to Santos, and the organizer only requires an ID, not a passport.

Guests under 18 traveling without a parent or guardian need a notarized authorization in two copies; children under 12 can also board with a birth certificate. Children can board from 6 months old. Pregnant women can sail up to the 23rd week, with an original medical certificate; from the 24th week, boarding is prohibited. Alcoholic drinks on board are for ages 21 and over only.

Tip: care at the ship’s medical center is paid separately, and canceling due to illness doesn’t automatically refund the cabin price. Get a travel insurance quote right after buying your cabin, because some cancellation coverage only applies if purchased early. get a travel insurance quote for the cruise.

Where does the cruise depart from and how do you get to the Santos terminal?

89 Rock Boat 2026 departs from the port of Santos (SP) on Thursday, Nov 26, 2026, with boarding from 12 pm to 4 pm, and disembarkation begins at 8 am on Sunday, Nov 29. The official website doesn’t state the terminal; confirm with PromoAção at (11) 3624-9007 before leaving home.

The Santos cruise port guide covers the route, parking and terminal rules, and the cruises departing from Santos guide shows the season’s ships. Arrive at the start of the boarding window, not the end: at 4 pm boarding closes.

Double-check your suitcase before you leave. The organizer lists drinks, hair dryers, flat irons and curling wands among prohibited items, and they’re discarded at the X-ray. On the way back, Sunday disembarkation starts at 8 am and takes hours on a full ship: book a flight or bus only for after lunch, already accounting for the descent and the mountain road.

Is it worth staying in Santos the night before boarding?

It’s worth it if you live far away: boarding is on a Thursday, and sleeping in Santos on Wednesday, Nov 25, takes the mountain road and morning traffic out of your cruise day. If you live in Greater São Paulo, you can head down the same day, leaving early.

Tip: book with free cancellation and bring your cruise e-ticket printed. Compare Santos hotels on Booking for the night of Nov 25; the ratings in the table are from Booking on September 30, 2026.

Valongo is in the Historic Center, closer to the port area; Gonzaga and the waterfront have more restaurants and pharmacies for last-minute shopping. From any neighborhood, the trip to the terminal is short by taxi or rideshare, but traffic near the port picks up during boarding hours.

Conclusion

89 Rock Boat 2026 is confirmed on the official website for Nov 26 to 29, 2026, on the MSC Divina, departing from Santos, with 13 Brazilian rock acts. The itinerary and show schedule are still missing, and the cabin price only appears at the PromoAção, the official operator checkout. If the date doesn’t work or the price is steep, the MSC Musica departs Santos on Dec 3 from R$ 2,204 per person (Oct 2026), without the concerts. Decide by what matters more: the bands or the price.
