Where were the fireworks in Gramado in the previous edition?

For the 2025 to 2026 celebration, the free show started at 10:30 pm on Rua Coberta, with Hally e Banda. At midnight, there were eight minutes of fireworks launched from a lot next to the Igreja do Relógio, visible from Avenida das Hortênsias and around Igreja São Pedro. There’s no confirmation for 2027. Lago Joaquina Rita Bier hosts Natal Luz attractions, but the documentation from the last celebration places the fireworks downtown, next to the Igreja do Relógio. Will there be public fireworks in Canela?

The city government of Canela hasn’t published a free municipal party for 2027 yet. Bal Masqué Gramado is the most clearly party-oriented option: it runs into the early hours and includes food, drinks and entertainment. The hotel dinners are better suited to those who put dinner, kids or less travel downtown at the center of the decision.

How much does New Year’s Eve in Gramado and Canela cost?

Without accommodation and transport, the public schedule costs R$ 0, if it’s confirmed as in the previous edition. On the paid side, the minimum reference observed on Pystta on 08/31/2026 was R$ 324.50 per adult at Prodigy and R$ 450 per adult at Bal Masqué. For a couple, the base math is 2 × ticket: R$ 649 or R$ 900, before any fees.

Your total budget should add up: tickets + dinner not included + getting around that night + accommodation for the actual number of nights + transport to the Serra. Don’t add a single-night rate to a three- or seven-night package as if they were equivalent. Prices for options without a visible amount were left out of the math.

Gramado and Canela are about 8 km apart, but that doesn’t make winging the trip back a smart move. At the last celebration, the Grande Desfile de Natal road closures remained in place after the show and affected downtown Gramado, according to the abc+ report. • Downtown Gramado: best for walking to a possible show on Rua Coberta; tends to concentrate crowds, road closures and noise.

Choose your area based on your main event, not just the rate. In downtown Gramado, you trade parking for walking. Around Lago Negro, the atmosphere is residential and leafy, but the lake isn’t confirmed as a fireworks spot.
