Where do the races start and finish?
The half marathon starts in Leblon and the marathon in Praia do Recreio, and both finish at the same place, Aterro do Flamengo. According to the general regulations, the 10K starts and finishes at Aterro, near Marina da Glória, in waves from 7am. Start times for the half marathon and marathon waves, and the course layouts, had not yet been published as of November 2, 2026.
In practice: start and finish are in different places for the half marathon and the marathon. The organizer has not yet announced special transportation for 2027, so getting back in the early hours or early morning should be planned with extra time, and it’s better to stay near the finish than near the start.
When and where do I pick up my kit?
