The 2026 program has no sprint race, and what matters most for logistics is the gate printed on your ticket: the walk ranges from 700 m to 2.7 km depending on the grandstand. To stay near a Line 9 station, see hotels in São Paulo for the GP from November 6 to 9.

Tickets: prices and where to buy
Eventim is the official box office indicated by the GP, and only the official checkout shows the current price for each grandstand. The exception is the Fanzone: in Voyage Voyage’s October 2026 survey, the exclusive three-day ticket cost R$ 620 (R$ 310 half-price), without access to the grandstands.

Fanzone per the organizer, Oct/2026. Tap the price to buy on Eventim.
Choose your grandstand by ticket type, cover and, above all, the gate shown on your confirmation: gate G and grandstand T, for example, mean very different walks from Cidade Dutra. In a group, check that all tickets lead to the same entrance and agree on a meeting point outside the turnstiles; the organizer states there is no re-entry with the same ticket.
Schedule: times for each day
The organizer confirms free practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday; Formula 1 confirms the November 6–8 weekend. The times below are local, Brasília time.
- Friday, 11/6: gates at 8 a.m.; practice at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- Saturday, 11/7: gates at 8 a.m.; practice at 11:30 a.m. and qualifying at 3 p.m.
- Sunday, 11/8: gates at 8 a.m.; race at 2 p.m.
The schedule can change: add the walk between station, security check and grandstand, because the time your train arrives is not the time you sit down in your seat.

How to get to Interlagos by grandstand
The Express Train announced for 2026 costs R$ 35 round trip as of October 2026, has a time slot chosen at purchase and drops off at Cidade Dutra. The GP mobility plan lists boarding at Pinheiros, Morumbi Claro and Villa-Lobos–Jaguaré. The regular Line 9 train reaches Autódromo Station, fare R$ 5.40 as of October 2026, with the station open from 4 a.m. to midnight.
The table shows the approximate distances that the organizer publishes from Cidade Dutra; two official pages differ on the minutes, so use the distance as your base and leave some margin. The gate on your ticket prevails.
| Grandstand or entrance | Approximate walk | Planning |
|---|---|---|
| G, Porto Bank, Fanzone | 700 m; about 10 min | Cidade Dutra; confirm gate on ticket |
| H, K, N, R | 1 km; about 15 min | Cidade Dutra |
| D, M | 1.6 km; about 25 min | Cidade Dutra |
| 8, B | 1.8 km; about 27 min | Cidade Dutra |
| A | 2.2 km; about 30 min | Cidade Dutra |
| T | 2.6 km; about 35 min | Cidade Dutra |
| Heineken Village | 2.7 km; about 37 min | Cidade Dutra |
If the walk is tough for your group, the mobility plan announces a SPTrans shuttle bus from Autódromo Station, near the main gates, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on all three days; the page does not confirm the 2026 price, so check on site. There are also accessible vans at Jurubatuba Station and the Atende+ service.

How to get back after the Sunday race
Follow the signs to the station for the ticket you bought: Cidade Dutra for the Express Train and Autódromo for the regular train; confirm the return time on your ticket. The shuttle bus ends at 1 p.m., before the start, so don’t count on it for your post-race plan without new official confirmation.
The GP mobility map rates the exit flow between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. as heavy or very heavy, peaking from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Agree on where your group will meet before going in, save your ticket and hotel address offline and leave time for the platform queue. For ride-hailing or taxis, use the official pickup areas near the gates and Autódromo Station; the wait varies with the crowd leaving at once.
What to bring and what’s not allowed
- ID and ticket: also bring a compact rain jacket and a cap, with no hard containers.
- Backpacks, suitcases and sports bags: the official 2026 GP support bans these items and anything larger than 25 × 25 × 25 cm. For any small bag, confirm with the organizer before you leave.
- Also not allowed: liquids, bottles even if plastic, cans, umbrellas, selfie sticks and professional cameras with interchangeable lenses.
- Food: the organizer allows up to three food items per person, sealed in the original packaging; fruit must be cut and packed in clear, flexible packaging. For medical exceptions, contact support: the 2025 deadline shown on the page does not apply as a current rule.
Where to stay to get from hotel to grandstand
For the three days, staying near Pinheiros, Vila Olímpia, Berrini or Santo Amaro lets you reach Line 9 with fewer transfers, depending on the hotel address. Pinheiros connects to Line 4; Santo Amaro, to Line 5. Check the walking route to the station: “near the line” on the map can be a long walk.
Those who choose Paulista get lodging and sightseeing, but add a line transfer; staying in Interlagos shortens the trip there, but the benefit changes depending on your gate and the trip back. To compare neighborhoods and the train to the circuit, see where to stay in Interlagos and the Lollapalooza lodging guide, at the same circuit.

Fanzone and an extra day in São Paulo
The F1 Fanzone is at Kartódromo Ayrton Senna, with entrance on Avenida Jacinto Júlio, next to gate G. The exclusive ticket gives access to the attractions and the big screen, not to the circuit grandstands. Tickets for grandstands G, H, K, N, R and Porto Bank include Fanzone access subject to capacity; the others require an additional ticket, with no re-entry.
If you book the Monday after the race, a stroll downtown is more comfortable than crossing São Paulo between qualifying and the race: see the São Paulo tours on Civitatis. Keep Sunday free for Interlagos.
