What you can already decide today for New Year’s Eve in Maceió 2027
Hotels had 60% of bookings for the period as of September 18, 2026 (ABIH-AL), and on September 25 Booking showed only 15 hotels and inns rated 8 or higher with availability for Dec 30 to Jan 2. Book with free cancellation and pick by the kind of night you want:

Free New Year’s Eve in Maceió 2027: what’s out so far
As of October 23, 2026, the City Hall has not announced the 2027 edition (official channel: Maceió City Hall). Venues, shows, DJs, access control and fireworks are all still pending. Last year, the lineup came out on December 27, 2025 (City Hall), so the announcement should come near the end of the year. The 2025/26 fireworks lasted about 12 minutes, were low-noise, and were launched in Pajuçara, at the Eu Amo Maceió Totem, at Posto 7, in Vergel do Lago and in Benedito Bentes (City Hall). That does not confirm the 2027 spots.

The Alto price went up: the individual 1st batch was R$ 490 + R$ 73.50 on September 19, 2026. Batches change without notice: check at the box office before paying. Salinas Maceió and Pratagy sell New Year’s packages for guests only, with no public price, and had no rooms on Booking on September 25, 2026; ask in writing what the rate includes (dinner, drinks, party, children’s policy).
How to get back after midnight
The special 2027 traffic plan had not been announced as of October 23, 2026. As a reference from last year’s edition, waterfront roadblocks began at 4 pm, DMTT recommended public transportation and expected a gradual return to normal from 2 am (DMTT); that doesn’t automatically apply to 2027. Choose the party before the neighborhood, ask the organizer for the official rideshare or transfer pickup point, and arrange your ride back before you head out, because surge pricing and lines add time. Don’t rely on a car near the venues. To get there, try to be in the city by December 30 (flights on Booking.com) and book your transfer with Luck: R$ 134 per person each way in high season (September 25, 2026).
