New Year’s Eve Fortaleza 2027 (the night of December 31, 2026 into January 1, 2027) already has its first act, Ivete Sangalo, in a free show on 12/30/2026 at Praia de Iracema (according to O Povo, 10/22/2026; checked on 10/23/2026), plus paid parties on sale at Praia do Futuro. Book a hotel with free cancellation while City Hall hasn’t made its announcement.

City Hall projected 95% hotel occupancy for last New Year’s Eve (operational plan, 12/23/2025), and hotels near the Aterro sell out first. Book a rate with free cancellation and switch if the plan changes. Pick by the kind of night you want:
1. Public party at Praia de Iracema (free) No announcement yet
In 2025/26 the public celebration was at the Aterro da Praia de Iracema, with 10 minutes of fireworks (City Hall, 12/04/2025).

2. Paid party with open bar at Praia do Futuro Confirmed for 2027
Atlantidz sells half-price tickets at R$ 449 and full price at R$ 598.67, plus an online fee, in the tier current as of 10/09/2026 (official website). Mar de Estrelas runs from 10 pm to 5 am, with open bar and open food (Sympla, checked on 10/21/2026). Another option is Luau Ronco do Mar (full price R$ 790). All of them are at Praia do Futuro and don’t give access to the Aterro.

3. A quiet New Year’s Eve, far from the Aterro
If you want to see the ocean and escape the crowds, stay in Mucuripe, at the end of Beira-Mar, farther from the Aterro than Meireles. With no 2027 fireworks plan yet, agree on a meeting point in advance and plan your ride back.

New Year’s Eve Fortaleza 2027 lineup: who’s performing
Ivete Sangalo was confirmed as the first act: a free show on 12/30/2026 at Praia de Iracema, with the party spread over two days and new names expected on 10/28/2026, according to the press (O Povo, 10/22/2026; checked on 10/23/2026). Fireworks and transportation haven’t been announced yet (checked on 10/23/2026). Before that, a column made the rounds: on 08/07/2026 Diário do Nordeste reported Gilberto Gil and Jorge & Mateus at the Aterro da Praia de Iracema (Inácio Aguiar’s column). That’s newspaper reporting, not an official announcement.
In the last edition, City Hall announced the acts on 10/20/2025 (announcement) and detailed the day and venue on 12/04/2025. On 12/31/2025, at the Aterro, Seu Jorge, Claudia Leitte, Wesley Safadão, Matuê, Paralamas do Sucesso, Taty Girl, Marcos Lessa, Nayra Costa and Transacionais performed (City Hall, 12/04/2025).
Where to watch the fireworks for free in Fortaleza
For 2027 there’s no announced fireworks spot, time or duration. In 2025/26 the display lasted 10 minutes, with low-noise fireworks launched from the Espigão da Rua João Cordeiro, at Praia de Iracema (Diário do Nordeste, 12/23/2025). City Hall estimated 1.5 million people at the Aterro for the start of 2026 (official report).
Loud fireworks are banned at public and private events under the municipal rule cited by Diário do Nordeste (fireworks rule, 12/31/2025). We couldn’t find the list of what was banned from the 2025/26 party (glass, styrofoam, drones): check back when the 2027 plan comes out.
Paid parties and private New Year’s Eve in Fortaleza
Atlantidz (Praia do Futuro). Barraca Atlantidz, Av. Clóvis Arrais Maia, 5695. Half-price R$ 449, full price R$ 598.67, a 4-person combo for R$ 1,596 and kids (ages 4 to 12) for R$ 199, all plus an online fee; includes open bar and open food, Super Banda from 10:30 pm to 12:30 am and Banda Reite from 1:30 am to 3:30 am (official website, prices from the tier current as of 10/09/2026).
Mar de Estrelas (Tempero do Mar, Av. Zezé Diogo, 2771, Praia do Futuro). From 12/31/2026 at 10 pm to 01/01/2027 at 5 am, with open bar from 10 pm to 5 am and open food from 10 pm to 1 am; named ticket, with photo ID required. Kids ages 11 to 14 pay R$ 180 and those up to 10 get in free (Sympla, checked on 10/21/2026). On the sales page on 10/23/2026: social half-price R$ 510 + R$ 51, full price R$ 560 + R$ 56 (the R$ 390 promo has ended), a lounge for 5 people for R$ 4,000 + R$ 400 and for 8 people for R$ 5,600 + R$ 560.
Santuário das Águias (Porto das Dunas, Aquiraz). Outside Fortaleza, R$ 750 for the party alone in the first tier (hotel, 09/25/2026); you can’t combine it with the Aterro on the same night.
Marina Park. As far as we could check, the hotel hasn’t announced its 2026/27 party.
Luau Ronco do Mar (Barraca Marulho, Av. Clóvis Arrais Maia, 3007, Praia do Futuro). From 12/31, 10 pm to 4:30 am, in the first tier: full price R$ 790 (R$ 400 for the ticket plus R$ 390 for bar and buffet), half-price R$ 590 only with a student ID, and kids ages 11 to 14 for R$ 200, plus the ticket site’s fee, which the page doesn’t show. It has open bar and buffet and a kids’ area (Ingresse, 10/22/2026).
How to get there and back after midnight
Buses (2025/26 edition): Etufor added 48 extra buses at the terminals on 12/31, created seven special lines from the terminals to the Aterro and applied a social fare of R$ 3.90 (full) and R$ 1.50 (student) on 12/31 and 01/01 (City Hall, 12/23/2025). The 2027 plan hasn’t come out yet.
After midnight: we didn’t find any special late-night bus schedule, and there’s no public data on rideshare prices for New Year’s Eve. With Av. Raimundo Girão closed, rideshares have to pick up outside the closure: if you’re staying at Praia de Iracema or the start of Meireles, you walk back. If you’re heading to Praia do Futuro, arrange your ride back in advance, because the party ends in the early hours. Flying in? compare flights on Booking.com and try to arrive by the 30th.
