Free public party on the waterfront: what’s confirmed?
The 2027 city-run edition is still in “awaiting announcement” mode. As of the cutoff for this report, the João Pessoa City Hall portal had not published anything confirming the event, venue, free admission, access, artists or fireworks for the night of 12/31/2026.
In the previous edition, the City held the party on Tambaú and Cabo Branco beaches, with the main stage at the Busto de Tamandaré, silent fireworks and a full service structure. The official report stated an audience of more than 500,000 people. These figures help you understand the scale and the geography, but they are not a promise for 2027. “Public,” “free” and “open access” are not synonyms. Even a party hosted by the City can have controlled areas, rules for tents, closures or capacity limits. Wait for the edition’s regulations before assuming any spot on the sand will be available without registration or restrictions.
Private, ticketed parties announced for 2027
Réveillon Goa 2027, in Bessa
The Outgo sales page announces the event at Goa Shantti, at Avenida Arthur Monteiro de Paiva, 151, Bessa. For 12/31, the tier observed on 9/6/2026 cost R$ 800 plus an R$ 80 online fee and included open bar, with Onze:20, DJ Viot and resident DJs. The All Access package for 12/28, 12/29 and 12/31 was listed at R$ 1,050 plus an R$ 105 fee. Check availability and terms directly on the Réveillon Goa 2027 ticket page.
The ticket confirms access to the product described by the organizers, not lodging or transportation. Confirm entry time, re-entry, which drinks are actually included, age rating, accessibility and the cancellation policy before buying.
Oceana Atlântico Hotel, in Bessa
The hotel’s booking engine announces a minimum four-night package, with a party on 12/31/2026, open bar, open food, live music and fireworks. The offer observed was non-refundable and showed R$ 3,136 per night for one person, but the total depends on the dates and occupancy you choose. Check the Oceana booking channel.
Package with dinner and a guided itinerary

Cabo Branco or Tambaú: which base should you choose?

Compare the hotel’s address with your party’s address, not just the neighborhood name. Booking a room doesn’t automatically include dinner, a rooftop, the party or a view of the fireworks. Ask for that confirmation in writing.
How to plan getting around and getting back after midnight
The 2027 plan hasn’t been released yet. As a historical reference, for the 2026 celebration Semob-JP deployed 100 officers, kept emergency lanes clear of parking, added bus lines and prioritized the beach→neighborhoods flow after midnight. The official recommendation was to use public transit, taxis, ride-hailing apps or carpooling. Check the previous edition’s traffic plan for context only.
- If you’re going to the city party: choose walkable lodging and wait for the official closure map before deciding on a drop-off point.
- If you’re going to a party in Bessa: check whether the event offers a transfer or boarding point and arrange your ride back before you head out.
- If you’re using a ride-hailing app: set a meeting point outside the most congested area and keep a plan B.
- If you’re driving: don’t assume there’s parking near the event; closures and special rules can change on the day.
What to book now and what should wait
You can already compare refundable lodging and private products with open sales. It’s still too early to treat the city stage, the artists, the duration and type of fireworks, the tent rules, free admission or the 2027 bus plan as confirmed. A good booking now allows for cancellation or a change if the official announcement shifts your choice.
