New Year’s Eve in Barra Grande 2027: is there a free party?
Not yet: the Maraú city government hasn’t announced fireworks or a public stage for 2026/27 as of 10/06/2026. At the previous turn of the year, the city confirmed fireworks at the Barra Grande pier and in eight other locations (barragrande24horas, 01/01/2026).
It was the first fireworks show planned by the municipality. The fireworks were low-noise, to spare animals and the environment, and the news doesn’t mention concerts or a time for the show. There’s also no promise of a repeat.
The other locations were Campinhos, Taipu de Dentro, Saquaíra, Maraú (the town seat), Tremembé, Ibiaçú, Tabuleiro and Piabanha. If the announcement comes, the village pier should be the easiest spot for anyone staying in Barra Grande who doesn’t want to pay for a ticket.
What you can do today: book lodging near the pier with free cancellation and follow the Maraú city government starting in December. In 2025, confirmation only came on January 1st itself, so don’t count on advance notice.

The sales page promises open bar and open food for the countdown. As of 10/06/2026, tickets range from R$ 1,120 to R$ 14,000, across five options. Payment accepts credit card and Pix. The club’s virtual box office waives the fee for buyers within 500 m of the venue.
Before the countdown there’s the Pré-Réveillon Tulum 2027, on Sunday 12/27/2026, also with gates at 9 PM and tickets from R$ 224 to R$ 2,800 (Ticket360, 10/06/2026). The full festival runs from 12/27 to 01/05, according to Tribuna do Recôncavo (09/18/2026).
Tribuna reports that the beach club opens at 9 AM and the arena starts at 4 PM. On 12/31, the club operates from 9 AM to 2 PM and reopens at 9 PM. The line-up announced as of 09/18 includes Toni Garrido, Filhos de Jorge, Jau, After Clapp, Nocapz, Meca, Água Fresca, Pri Mendes, Chris Haicai, Callorë and Pellegrini.
Réveillon Aurora takes place on Ilha do Tatu, from 12/28/2026 at 10 AM to 01/01/2027 at 7 AM (Sympla, 10/06/2026). It’s all inclusive, with premium open bar, food, a boat party on the Diamond boat, medical support and boat transfer from the Taipu de Dentro pier. Capacity is 350 people for the countdown and the crowd is 35+. The page doesn’t publish a price.
Tikal, on Praia de Algodões, appears here only as a reference to the previous edition. The Portal de Algodões 2025/26 ran from 12/26/2025 to 01/03/2026, 18+, with tickets at R$ 400 and more than 40 artists (Resident Advisor). There’s no open sale for 2026/27 as of 10/06/2026.
None of these parties is the Barra Grande village party. Tulum and Aurora are private events, in different locations, and each has its own access rules.

For lodging, use the date search on Booking and compare cancellation policies. The transfer from Camamu depends on origin, number of people, luggage and time, according to Barra Grande Transfer (08/23/2026), which doesn’t publish a fixed rate table.
How to get to Barra Grande and back after midnight
The most common route is the speedboat from Camamu to Barra Grande, in 30 to 40 minutes, with departures roughly every hour between 6 AM and 5 PM (Barra Grande Transfer, 08/23/2026). The price isn’t fixed and depends on the operator.
By land, the final stretch of BR-030/BA-001 has about 46 km of unpaved road, taking around 2 hours in dry weather. With heavy rain it can become impassable. Camamu Adventure (10/06/2026) says only 4×4 vehicles get through and recommends leaving your car in Camamu.
To reach Camamu, the route is BR-101 to Travessão and then BA-001, for about 40 km, according to Camamu Adventure. The Kiaroa Eco-Resort airstrip is private and for guests only.
Getting back after midnight
There’s no regular boat in the early hours: published departures end around 5 PM. Anyone leaving a party at night in Ponta do Mutá shouldn’t count on a boat from Camamu until dawn.
The safe plan is to sleep on the peninsula, in Barra Grande or near the party, and arrange round-trip transfer with the inn before paying. Aurora includes boat transfer from the Taipu de Dentro pier; the Tulum page doesn’t mention transport.
If you need to get back to Camamu, book a private boat in advance, tell them your expected departure time from the party and confirm the price in writing. Don’t rely on ride-hailing apps on the peninsula.
