Yes. According to the park’s ticketing policy, the National Park operates daily, including holidays, from 8am to 6pm; that applies to 12/31/2026 (Thursday) and 01/01/2027 (Friday, a holiday), and the concessionaire doesn’t announce special hours for the countdown. Changes due to rain or safety can happen, so double-check during the week of your trip and buy the ticket for the right date.

The concessionaire also lists a night visit from Wednesday to Sunday, with groups of up to six people, an authorized guide and a ticket purchased in advance; each visitor must bring their own flashlight. ICMBio’s Management Plan explains that rain concentrated at the headwaters can cause flash floods and a rapid rise in river levels. ICMBio’s concession notice states that visitation to the Travessia das Sete Quedas is interrupted during the rainy season. In practice, the park’s website already limits it: Travessia das Sete Quedas only opens from June to November (November depends on the Rio Preto’s level) and Travessia São Jorge–Capela from June to October; in late December, both are closed. Trilha da Seriema is the opposite: it only has water during the rainy season. The other daytime trails remain open unless there’s a notice that day. If it rains hard, if the river rises or if the team decides to close, don’t enter the water or try to get around closures.
