Foo Fighters at MorumBIS: what’s confirmed

The São Paulo date is part of the Take Cover Tour 2027. The official Live Nation page confirms Foo Fighters as headliner and lists Karen Dió and Deb and The Mentals as opening acts. That doesn’t mean the band will take the stage at exactly 8 p.m.: that’s the show time listed in the official service, subject to production adjustments. Check the schedule close to the date, especially if you want to catch both opening acts.

MorumBIS is the home of São Paulo Futebol Clube and hosts major concerts. It’s located at Praça Roberto Gomes Pedrosa, 1, in the Morumbi neighborhood. The stadium has different entrances depending on the section, so the gate printed on your digital ticket should take priority over any generic route. Plan your arrival well in advance: there will be walking between the station and the stadium, entry lines and heavy foot traffic in the area.

Ticketmaster states an online service fee of 20% and a MorumBIS administration fee of R$ 21.74. The official box office at Shopping Ibirapuera doesn’t charge a service fee, but the stadium administration fee also applies to in-person sales, per the platform’s rules.

How to get to MorumBIS

For those coming from other parts of São Paulo, the rail transit reference is São Paulo-Morumbi station on the Yellow Line 4. Check the official Metrô map for the most convenient connection from your starting point. From the station, follow the signs and the flow of pedestrians to the gate indicated on your ticket; the final stretch is on foot. Don’t confuse São Paulo-Morumbi on Line 4 with Morumbi station on the Gold Line 17, which is in a different area.

Buses, taxis and ride-hailing also serve the neighborhood, but road closures and pickup points can change on show days. SPTrans publishes special operations for each event; check the official channels close to February 20 instead of relying on routes or stops from previous events. If you’re driving, check parking availability in advance and factor in exit time after the show. On the way back, agree on a meeting point with your group and check public transit hours for that day.

Where to stay for the show

To prioritize access to the stadium, look for lodging in Morumbi or near São Paulo-Morumbi station. Compare the actual distance from the hotel to the station and to your section’s gate: the neighborhood name alone doesn’t guarantee a short walk. Butantã is another base to consider along the Yellow Line 4. Check recent reviews and the return route, especially if you plan to head back after the show.

If you want to make the most of the city, consider Pinheiros or the Avenida Paulista area, keeping an eye on connections to Line 4. These areas expand your options for restaurants and sightseeing, but require more travel to MorumBIS. Before booking, compare cancellation policies, check-in times and the total cost of your stay. For a short trip, being near a useful station usually helps more than choosing based solely on straight-line distance to the stadium.

What to do nearby and how to enjoy São Paulo

If available, the MorumBIS Tour showcases areas of the stadium and its history. The club itself recommends checking operations on match days, and the same caution applies to show dates: don’t count on the visit on February 20 without confirmation. The Morumbi Concept Hall, within the complex, offers food and services, but establishments may operate differently during the event.

For another day of your trip, Vila Madalena offers an outing focused on urban life and street art. See the Vila Madalena tour. If you’d prefer an afternoon outdoors before or after the show, check out the Parque Ibirapuera tour. These are outings in other parts of the city, suited to free days, not attractions a few steps from the stadium.
