New Year’s Eve on Paulista 2027 (the night of Thursday, December 31, 2026, into January 1, 2027) still has no lineup, fireworks or subway plan announced by the São Paulo city government (not released as of 10/26/2026). The public party is free; paid parties are already selling tickets, from R$ 528.

What you can already decide today
Last New Year's Eve, Paulista, Alameda Santos and Alameda São Carlos do Pinhal were closed from midnight on 12/31 until the first hour of 1/2 (city government guide, 12/29/2025). A hotel on those streets puts you within walking distance of the party, but cars can't reach the door. Pick by the kind of night you want and book a rate with free cancellation:
1. Free public party on Avenida Paulista No announcement yet
In 2025/26 there were more than 14 hours of shows (city government, 11/27/2025). Trianon-Masp station accepted passengers all through the night.

3. A quiet New Year's Eve, away from the crowd
If you want dinner and to skip the crush in the middle of the avenue, stay in Paraíso, at the end of the avenue near Rua Vergueiro. Paraíso station ran all night in 2025/26 and connects the 1-Blue and 2-Green lines.

New Year's Eve on Paulista 2027 lineup: the big countdown show
The city government has not yet announced who will perform or the schedule for the 2026/27 countdown (Municipal Culture Department, portal checked on 10/26/2026). The stage is planned per a bidding notice: SPTuris opened bid 029/26 to set up a special "Réveillon 2027" stage on Avenida Paulista, near no. 2,300 (Fanganiello Melhem tunnel), from 2 pm on 12/31/2026 to 5 am on 01/01/2027 (Official City Gazette, notice dated 10/23/2026). A stage bidding notice doesn't confirm lineup or fireworks.
Last edition, the lineup was announced on 11/27/2025, with 14 hours of shows (announcement). Who performed is in the 2025/26 edition recap.
Fireworks and party rules on Paulista
For 2027 there's no announced duration or fireworks location. In 2025/26 the display lasted 15 minutes, with silent fireworks on the avenue itself; the city government didn't say where they were launched from (practical guide, 12/29/2025).
Camarote Paulista and paid parties in São Paulo
Camarote Paulista (Mirante Paulista, Av. Paulista, 2230, Bela Vista). Gates open at 6 pm on 12/31/2026, for ages 18 and up. Individual tickets from R$ 1,197 + R$ 119.70 fee; the range goes from R$ 1,316.70 to R$ 8,123.50 depending on the section (Ticket360, checked on 10/26/2026). Lineup not released as of 10/26/2026. The page doesn't say whether there's open bar or food: ask before buying.
Jardins bars (Boteco Rainha, Boteco Boa Praça and Eu Tu Eles). From 9 pm to 3 am, with entry until 1 am, open bar, open food and a samba band with a DJ. Tickets from R$ 594 including fee (at Rainha: R$ 540 + R$ 54, on sale until 11/07, checked on Sympla on 10/22/2026); kids up to 5 get in free and ages 6 to 12 pay half (Agitossp, 10/20/2026; schedule and menu checked on Rainha's Sympla page, 10/21/2026). Dress code is casual, no team jerseys; tickets are named, up to 4 per CPF, payable in up to 12 installments (Rainha's Sympla page, 10/26/2026). They're two or three blocks from Paulista.
Sampa Festival (Sonora Garden, Canindé). From 8:30 pm to 5:30 am, with open bar, open food and fireworks announced, for ages 18 and up. Announced lineup: Nuwance, Matheuzinho, Vou de Taxi and DJs Gabbo Venutti, Victor Bauer and Bruno. Women R$ 480 + R$ 48 and men R$ 560 + R$ 56 (Ticket360; range from R$ 528 to R$ 616 including fee, checked on 10/26/2026). It's on the north side, far from Paulista: arrange your ride back in advance.
Réveillon Hotel Sheraton SP (Sheraton WTC). Opens at 9 pm on 12/31/2026, with bands, DJs, fireworks, premium open bar and open food, from R$ 896 (displayed price; the page doesn't say whether the fee is included; Ticket360, checked on 10/26/2026). Lineup names not released as of 10/26/2026.
For families: La Vieiras, at Yacht Club Santo Amaro (Guarapiranga, south side), runs from 8 pm to 3 am, with a kids' area; adults pay R$ 790 + R$ 79 in the second batch, on sale until 10/31 (Sympla, checked on 10/22/2026).
Getting back from Paulista: subway, buses and closures
The 2027 plan isn't out yet. Here's how it worked in 2025/26:
- Subway running nonstop from 12/31 into 1/1. Paraíso, Brigadeiro and Trianon-Masp accepted entry and exit all night. The other stations on lines 1, 2, 3 and 15 only allowed entry until 2 am; after that, exit only (Metrô, 12/30/2025).
- Consolação closed from 10 am on 12/31 until after 4:40 am on 1/1. If you're coming via Line 4-Yellow, get off at Paulista and don't exit through Consolação.
- Payment: debit or credit card tap-to-pay at Brigadeiro, Trianon-Masp and on lines 1 and 3. The fare for that night wasn't announced.
- Buses: SPTrans added 500 vehicles across 46 lines and charged no fare on municipal buses on 1/1 (city government/SPTrans, 12/23/2025). The list of lines and each one's last departure weren't published.
- Closures: Paulista, Alameda Santos and São Carlos do Pinhal, from midnight on 12/31 until the first hour of 1/2. Because of the stage setup, the stretch between Bela Cintra and Haddock Lobo stayed closed until 5 am on 1/6 (SPTrans).
Taxis and rideshare: the city government didn't designate an official pickup point, and there's no public pricing data for New Year's Eve. Walk to a street outside the three closed roads before calling your ride.
