Free New Year’s Eve and fireworks
As of 10/06/2026, the city government hasn’t published a public schedule with a stage and fireworks for 2026/27. Viva Piri is paid and doesn’t count as a free New Year’s Eve.
The city did publish traffic and parking rules for the 2025 New Year’s Eve (12/20/2024). Those are from last year’s edition and only hint at what might repeat; the 2026 rules usually come out near the end of the year.

The countdown features Hugo & Guilherme, with an open bar of beer, domestic vodka, soda, water and juice in all areas. On the other three nights (Dilsinho on 12/30, Léo Santana on 01/01 and Felipe Amorim on 01/02), drinks are sold on site.
Tickets are sold for three areas. Frontstage is right in front of the stage, with a rest area, air-conditioned premium restrooms, bars, waiter service and a food court.
Backstage has a prime view of the stage plus a rest area and exclusive bars. Lounges are for groups of 10 or more, only with the Passport (4 nights), with a sofa, bistro table, waiter service and one bottle of whiskey, gin or vodka per day.

At the official box office (Meu Bilhete), on 10/06/2026, the 2nd batch for the night of 12/31 (Hugo & Guilherme, open bar) cost R$ 360 for Frontstage and R$ 530 for Backstage, plus a 10% fee. The 4-night Passport was R$ 550 (Frontstage) and R$ 750 (Backstage), also plus a 10% fee. Gates open at 8 pm and the venue still shows as “to be defined.” See tickets on Meu Bilhete.
What you can calculate now is the rest of the bill: three nights of lodging (12/30 to 01/02), fuel or bus from Brasília (150 km) or Goiânia (120 km), drinks on the nights without an open bar, and any daytime tour you want to add.

Getting there and getting around
Pirenópolis is about 150 km from Brasília and 120 km from Goiânia, according to the city tourism portal (checked on 10/06/2026). In practice, driving is the easiest way to get there.
As for the party venue, the local events calendar pirenopolis.tur.br lists the Módulo Esportivo (GO-338), but the promoter still says “to be announced soon.” The listed address is Rodovia GO-338, across from the airport, Jardim Taquaral. Only book lodging with free cancellation until the promoter confirms.
The event will have private parking for more than 500 cars. If you’re coming by bus or plane, arrange your transfer in advance and let the inn know your arrival time.
