Singapore GP 2026: Tickets, Night Race and Itinerary

🇧🇷 POR | 🇺🇸 EN | 🇪🇸 ES

The Singapore GP 2026 takes place from October 9 to 11 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with the main race set for Sunday at 8 PM local time. For the first time in Singapore, the weekend will feature a Saturday sprint race. In a September 28 check, the Zone 4 Walkabout ticket started at S$ 198 for Friday; prices and availability change on the official box office. The street circuit occupies the Marina Bay area, and the organizer recommends arriving by public transport and checking the gate listed on your ticket. This guide brings together the schedule, how the zones work, neighborhoods to sleep in and a city itinerary to make the most of the day before the night race.

What to expect from the night race

In 2008, Singapore hosted the first night race in Formula 1 history. The spectacle remains one of a kind: cars and grandstands lit up among the Marina Bay skyscrapers, while sightseeing around the city can fill the hours before the on-track sessions. The 2026 edition adds a major twist: the first F1 sprint in the country. That changes the traditional schedule, with sprint qualifying on Friday, the sprint and GP qualifying on Saturday, and the main race on Sunday.

According to the promoter, the track is 4.927 km long and the GP is expected to run 62 laps. The zone you choose defines your walking area and your view of the track; a Walkabout ticket gives you the freedom to hunt for vantage points within the permitted zones, while a grandstand offers a designated seat. Compare the map and the terms of each product before you check out.

Dates, times and location of the Singapore GP 2026

All times are Singapore time (SGT, UTC+8) and subject to change. For those following from the US, Singapore is 12 hours ahead of New York (ET) in October. Check the Formula 1 schedule again the week of your trip. Because this is a street circuit spread across zones and gates, there is no single postal address that works for every spectator; use the gate printed on your ticket and the official park map.

Tickets: zones, prices and official purchase

Sales take place on the official Singapore Grand Prix website. On September 28, 2026, the prices below were listed for single-day Walkabout tickets, in Singapore dollars (SGD), tax included. The three-day Zone 4 package, announced at S$ 548, was listed as sold out in the same check. Availability can change fast; don’t assume a zone mentioned here is still open.

Zone Friday, 10/9 Saturday, 10/10 Sunday, 10/11
Zone 4 Walkabout S$ 198 S$ 298 S$ 368
Premier Walkabout S$ 298 S$ 398 S$ 498

On the same date, the Saturday and Sunday Premier Walkabout were temporarily sold out. Also check out the grandstands, which have their own locations and terms, and read up on zone access before buying. Buy only through the channel indicated by the organizers and keep your ticket handy on your phone so you can find your gate.

How to get to the Marina Bay circuit

The promoter recommends public transport because of road closures during the event. The MRT serves different parts of the city center, but the most practical station depends on the gate and zone of your ticket; so check the official map before choosing your route. Don’t just follow a generic Marina Bay address in your ride-hailing app: it can drop you on the wrong side of the closed circuit.

The event FAQ states that on Friday, some gates in zones 1 and 2 open at 1:30 PM and zone 4 gates at 2 PM. On Saturday, the announced opening is 2:15 PM; on Sunday, 3 PM. These times can also change. Allow time for the walk between the station, security and the spot where you’ll watch the track, especially before qualifying and the night race start.

Where to stay for the F1 in Singapore

Marina Bay is the most direct choice for those who prioritize being near the circuit and are willing to hunt for accommodation in the highest tier of the local market. Proximity, however, doesn’t replace checking your gate: closed streets can turn an apparently short walk into a long one. City Hall and Civic District combine race weekend with museums and historic architecture; they’re practical bases for exploring the center on foot or by MRT. Bugis is an urban alternative that widens your accommodation search and lets you use the metro to get around.

Choose your ticket zone first; then compare hotels by MRT station and by the route to the corresponding gate. Check cancellation policies, check-in times and access on Sunday night, when a lot of people leave the race at once. There’s no reliable hotel rate for the whole weekend: price and availability change depending on the date and exact location.

City itinerary before and after the race

On Friday, take a light stroll around Marina Bay and keep the afternoon free to enter the circuit before practice. On Saturday, use the morning to visit Gardens by the Bay; the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories are attractions with their own tickets. Then head back to your hotel before the sprint and night qualifying. On Sunday, keep your schedule short: the ArtScience Museum and the Marina Bay Sands area can fill your daytime outing, but prioritize a smooth entry into the circuit before the start.

If you’d rather swap the bay for art, you can visit the National Gallery during the day. The museum says it’s open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, but warns that during the GP period the parking lot closes and entry through the Padang Atrium is unavailable. Check the visitor page before you go. For paid attractions, there’s the Gardens by the Bay ticket and the Marina Bay Sands observation deck ticket. Confirm opening hours and availability for October 9 to 11 before booking.
